Club Calypso
Since their inception, Calypso has always sought to provide fun and engaging cricket experiences for junior cricketers in the Kent area. They're now set to go one step further with the creation of their own franchise.
Club Calypso is designed to support coaching for all players from the U11 to U15 age groups, without clashing with their current programme. The nature of Club Calypso is to provide unforgettable experiences and great learning opportunities that'll accelerate boys' and girls' love for the game, and aid their progression as a result.

Dubai 2025
U13
In 2025, Calypso took a U13 team to Dubai for the R66T Academy Tournament. This amazing experience is an example of the opportunities that Club Calypso can provide.
Dubai 2026
U13
Calypso are going one further this year, with a U13 team heading back to Dubai in April.
Trinidad & Tobago 2026
U16
A U16 team will be heading to Trinidad and Tobago in July — an incredible opportunity for young cricketers.
Central Cavaliers
Area Cricket Programme
Cavaliers Motto
The area cricket programme is vital in providing a higher standard of competition than school and junior club cricket, to challenge and enable the development of talented players, helping to prepare them to compete for places in the County Age Group Squads.
The Central Cavaliers area covers Maidstone, Medway, and Swale. Calypso Cricket Coaching oversees the coaching and management of the Central Cavalier area squads, working closely with local clubs and leagues to secure nominations of the strongest players within the district.
Southern Spartans
The Southern Spartans are a representative side with players from Ashford and Shepway. Calypso are delighted to be teaming up with the existing members of the Southern Spartans to help drive the programme forward.
Together, they'll continue to build on the strong foundations already in place, working closely with local clubs and leagues to identify and develop the most talented players across the district.

Calypso Academy
The Academy is open to hard ball players, with the main aim to provide players with the opportunity to grow all aspects of their game throughout the winter so that they can go out and smash it next summer.

All coaches and directors at Calypso either support or are players at Leeds & Broomfield Cricket Club.
